How did I end up throwing out the 1st pitch at Boston’s Fenway Park? Well, my bosses-bosses-bosses from CVS Health were there to present a $4 or 5 Million check to the distinguished cast of docs from The ALS Therapy Alliance. Barry and I were just along for the ride, as the ALS poster kids.
Someone with the Red Sox came up to our group and said, “So. Who’s throwing the pitch?” I think it was my daughter who replied, “Let one of the dumb-looking guys from Cleveland do it.”
Fast forward a few minutes and there I was, chucking the ball into the ground a good 10-feet in front of the catcher. I recall groans mixed with laughter.
